Apple’s latest slip-up has given technology enthusiasts an unusually detailed look at the company’s future hardware roadmap. Earlier this week, sharp-eyed researchers and news outlets discovered internal product identifiers and chip references embedded in publicly released Apple software code. While Apple has a history of foreshadowing new products through code, this leak is exceptional offering compelling evidence of unannounced updates spanning seven major product categories.

The leak reveals that Apple is set to refresh or expand its lineup across the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple TV, and HomePod families. Most notably, Apple’s first budget-friendly iPad equipped with the A18 chip appears ready for launch as soon as spring 2026, joined by a new iPad mini powered by the upcoming A19 Pro chip. The Vision Pro will reportedly receive a significant upgrade with the M5 chip, alongside improved comfort features such as a redesigned strap. Apple’s wearables will also see updates. The next Apple Watch models Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 are slated to use the enhanced S11 chip with architecture upgrades focused on efficiency. Meanwhile, the HomePod mini will be refreshed with a next-generation chip and support for Wi-Fi 6E.

For desktop and entertainment, the leak points to a new Studio Display (possibly with mini-LED backlighting), and Apple TV 4K set to receive advanced silicon for improved AI and gaming functions. There’s also evidence of ongoing MacBook and Mac development, with new chips signaling a coordinated round of upgrades across the company’s product ecosystem. While none of these products have been officially announced by Apple, the specificity of the leaked device names, internal codenames, and chip references within Apple’s code suggests that development is already well underway. As always, details may change before official unveiling, but this slip strongly hints at a busy launch calendar for late 2025 and 2026.
